Paula Shur, Principal
Paula is a talented management search professional with more than twenty years of experience. After working for two local recruiting firms in Chicago, she formed her own company, Shur Business Connections in 1992. She created this company as a platform to promote talented and qualified human resources professionals for management level positions with leading corporations. Paula possesses a track record of success, and has taken great pride in placing these professionals in a variety of organizations. Some of her clients have included The Nielsen Company, Pampered Chef, TAP Pharmaceuticals, DSC Logistics, Telution, Fellowes, Boeing, Sara Lee Corporation, Chicago Tribune, Schwarz Paper, Folletts, Quaker Oats, Pepsi, Culligan Water, Millward Brown, Morgan Stanley and Kaplan Higher Education Group.
Paula holds a MSW from the University of Illinois, and a BA in Psychology from Roosevelt University.

Toby Nathan, Principal
Toby is a seasoned talent acquisition consultant and entrepreneur who has worked with clients in a variety of industries and functional areas. She has more than 14 years of retained executive search experience working for such organizations as Whitney Group, A.T. Kearney Executive Search and Kensington International. In addition, Toby has completed recruiting projects for a wide range of organizations, including A.T. Kearney, Inc., EDS, Capital One Financial Services, Windy City Habitat for Humanity Affiliate, Ameriquest Mortgage Company, The Forum Corporation, Caremark, American Management Association, Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter, Pactiv Corporation, Bridgeview Bank, American Home Shield, The Cambridge Group, and Chicago Title and Trust.
Prior to executive search, Toby spent 14 years in the healthcare industry where she served as a senior human resources manager with a special emphasis on recruitment, compensation and benefits.
Toby holds a MS in Industrial Relations from Loyola University and a BS in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Toby is an AIRS Certified Internet & Social Sourcing Recruiter.
